Our top 6 yoga medicine poses to keep your family healthy and happy in winter and all year round.

It’s pretty wild out there right now...

Winter has arrived here in Brisbane and the post-covid epidemic has seen illnesses rapidly rising.

When I get sick, I have to surrender and sit with the discomfort.

When the light shines through again,

I seem to have new insight into what my body needs more of. Quite often the answer is very simple.  I need more...

  • Sleep

  • Less stress

  • Nourishing food

  • Slow down time and rest

I’ve always preferred getting to the root cause of things…

As well as boosting my immunity naturally

And... learning to listen to my body

Which is why I love yoga so much!

Then I did kids' yoga therapy training and my love for yoga soared to a whole new level…

I learnt that yoga can be our medicine.

Of course, if you are sick the only recommended yoga pose is savasana (relaxation pose)

But once you are well again, yoga is a fabulous preventative measure to

  • Reduce stress hormones that weaken the immune system

  • Promote healthy lungs

  • Detox the body

  • Keep healthy organs

We are pretty stoked to share with you our special winter prescription...

Here’s our top 6 ‘yoga medicine’ poses for...

Colds and flus

  • Shoulder stand

  • Seated forward fold

Sinus

  • Downward facing dog

  • Plough pose

Coughs
